Our new Vacation Home in Phoenix, Arizona

Maricopa City

The Entrance to the Community

Wikipedia: TORTOSA:  Castle of San Juan, or Zuda, commanding the city from a 59 m-high hill. Though the Roman were the first to fortify the place, the current structure date to Muslim caliph Abd ar-Rahman III. After the conquest by Ramon Berenguer IV, Count of Barcelona, in 1148, it became a residence of the Montcada and the Knights Templar, and from the 13th century it became a royal mansion

This tree, on the right, is on our property, and will shade our driveway eventually.

Our yard gate with satellite dish

This is the front corner, and the neighbour's garage.

Walkway to front entrance

From the hall, by the bedrooms, looking through the living room to the front entrance,

and kitchen/dining on the far side. Pantry door in the kitchen

From the hall looking down towards the master bedroom, living room at the right

Kitchen, from the living room, (or Great Room) showing dining room at the back.

Nice huge window shaded by the front entrance walkway.

Kitchen sink behind the pony wall, facing the living room.  Guess I can watch TV

while doing the dishes!

Kitchen, all new appliances.  Never been used, and have manuals and warranties inside.

Pantry and fridge to the right.

Back yard, ready for planting, and big enough for the pool

That's the master bedroom with en-suite, and the bedrooms to the side.

A row of Cactus will go along the wall, down this side of the house. Maybe even a saguaro

Back patio, with afternoon shade, and Andy has plans for this section!

I think a guava tree to the right/foreground of this rounded patio.

Or, maybe a lime tree to go with the Tekante Mexican beer! (Similar to Corona)

A patch of grass for the dogs will be planted down that side of the house.

!

The gravel will change. This blue granite will go around the edges and down the sides.

There is a pinkish gravel which is gorgeous, which will go in the center. Pathways will be put in, dividing the two gravels.

A few shade trees are planned. Bouganvillia, passion fruit vine, fig, rubber tree and a palm or two
