Testimonials are glowing testimony to a dog breeder
which are designed to fool the prospective puppy buyer into thinking
that the breeder is the best in the entire world, when, in fact, the
opposite is true.
A good, responsible, ethical and honest breeder does
not need TACKY testimonials to sell their pups.
Anyone can write a glorious letter about their
fabulous puppy they received. Some are true, but 90% are the breeder's
own imagination.
And yes, we get great letters from our
clients. The difference is, we do not use these private letters as
a tool to rope in the buyers. We leave that to those who are sadly
lacking class. Or to those who will do whatever they have to, to
make a buck.
Strange tho, that we never see the negative
letters. Dogs are not machines, they are living beings, just like
us, and so, like us are vulnerable to disease and sickness. So, these
breeders who publish the glowing letters, simply ignore the letters from
their clients who write that their precious baby has an inherited liver
disease, or perhaps has a cancer or going blind from cataracts. The
perfectly healthy dog, without defective genes, is yet to be born.
These same breeders who have glowing testimonials are
also the ones who loudly proclaim that their dogs are healthy and free
of inherited disease. If they were, the top breeders would be
lining up to purchase these puppies.... and they are not. Why? Because
the best breeders know their lines, understand genetics, and do their
utmost to help prevent disease, illness etc. The good breeder is
open and honest about known genetic disorders in their breed/line. Most
of all, the experienced responsible breeder is not fooled by glowing
testimonials.
When purchasing a puppy from us, you can expect that
private letters will remain private, and will not be splashed onto a web
page for the world to read. We will respect your privacy. If
you write to us, you need not be afraid that your name will be used on
our web page as a tool, and your letter open for public viewing.
To do so, is simply TACKY
